Declaration on the duty to inform (privacy policy)

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (DSGVO, TKG 2003). In this data protection information we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.

When you visit our website, your IP address, start and end of the session will be recorded for the duration of this session. This is due to technical reasons and thus represents a legitimate interest in the sense of Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit f DSGVO. Unless otherwise regulated below, we do not process this data further.

Contact

If you contact us via the form on the website or via e-mail, your data will be stored for six months for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage.

We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

Web Analysis

Our website uses functions of the following web analysis service: Google Analytics, Google Inc. 1600, Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, (“Google”). Google Analytics is de facto “industry standard” and uses cookies. Cookies are used to analyze the use of the website by its users. The information thus generated is transferred to the provider’s server and stored there. You can prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are stored. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. The relationship with the web analysis provider is based on the so-called “Privacy Shield”. The data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 para. 3 TKG and Art 6 para. 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the DSGVO. Our concern in the sense of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our web presence. The user data will be stored for an appropriate period of time.

We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for order data processing.

Our concern in the sense of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our web presence.

The user data will be stored for a maximum period of 50 months.

 

Newsletter

You have the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. To do so, we need your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter.

In order to provide you with targeted information, we also collect and process voluntarily provided data, e.g. on your areas of interest.

As soon as you have registered for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with a link to confirm your registration.

You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation to the following e-mail address: officemanagement@af-institute.at. We will then immediately delete your data in connection with the newsletter dispatch. This revocation does not affect the legality of the processing that took place on the basis of the agreement until the revocation.

Your rights

With regard to your data stored with us, you are entitled to the rights of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to us at officemanagement@af-institute.at or the data protection authority.
